This model was the first steel frame Jaguar, which
replaced the wooden framed cars. 3,748 of this improved new body car were built
in 1939 and was a very popular car in its day, having a smaller engine making
it cheaper to run. This is a great looking car and has provided us with a great
deal of enjoyment over the years.
car has been restored with the utmost attention to detail and is currently in
excellent condition. The car was first VINZ’d in 2014 and has a current VINZ
and remains in excellent working order. The rebuild was extensive, with door
skins replaced. Head lining, carpets, door linings, woodwork and seat covers
have all been restored. The colour is green over black.
